What happened to The Force?

Can the girl in this picture really have written this? Is it possible that someone who was Princess Leia for Halloween TWO YEARS in a row has not yet seen Revenge of the Sith, and will probably wait for it to come out on DVD. And even then, she will rent -- not buy?

Lucas, Lucas, what hath thou wrought?

Lovely photo and great blog...you made a very special Leia.

2 weeks ago I wasn't going to see #3 either, but I saw #2 on the telly, and now I'm sold. (I'd never seen ep 2 'cos I was too busy parenting, and I didn't like #1)

heee, I have a grade school photo with my own princess leia buns too. And I'm not sure I'll see #3 in the theatres as I've only seen parts of Attack of the Clowns, er, Clones so I'll want to catch up on that first. And I don't seem to be doing that. So I'm unsure when I'll see #3.

It's just...it's hard to give that man my money.

He betrayed us. Have you SEEN what he did to the original trilogy? I'm...broken hearted. He won't even give us the option of seeing the original trilogy in it's original form anymore. I'm almost to the point of wanting to buy a laser disc player on e-bay and begging someone who owns the trilogy on laser disc to let me borrow it for a few days. And if the laser disc player is accidentally connected to my computer with a rom burner, well that's not my fault is it?

OOooooooh! APL, you are my hero!

Oh hoh, you look so cute. You look like a Von Trapp child. Which, in my world, is the biggest compliment ever.

I was gonna offer to send you the VHS tapes too, but APL has beaten me to it. If hers don't work out for some reason, let me know.

I saw #3 yesterday--will probably write some sort of post on it today sometime--and it was really quite good. Waaaaaay better than the last 2. Even much much prettier visually. And some actually emotionally affecting moments, and good acting. It felt much more like the original trilogy to me.

Oh my god, Liz... so CUTE! I have to agree with Jellyfish here -- very Von Trapp

Next time I'm at my parents' house, I'll have to dig up my Princess Leia photos..

I guess we need to have a Princess Leia Meme!

I never knew any girls who dressed up as Leia. Where were all you cool girls when I was a kid?

I did dress up as Luke. Probably my favorite costume ever, and I did it all myself: Brown pants, a too-large white shirt, and a cheapo glow-in-the-dark sword.
