Because apparently our uh...volley ball?...team is doing rather well. And oh, yeah, our basketball team is going to the prom or something. No, seriously...our basketball team is in the Sweet 16, and our volleyball team is also in the top ranks. I'm trying not to pay attention, 'cause the moment I do, they'll both lose badly. I mean it. (Did I ever tell you about the time I went to see the 1977 Yankees play against the Blue Jays?)
So the campus has gone nuts. News crews everywhere. People wearing the school colors. The bookstore is selling out of sweatshirts, I went in to check the bargain book bin and the line was out the door with people buying school logo paraphenalia - I decided that no bargain would be worth waiting on a line 200 people long.
It's sure chasing away the "After Spring Break" blahs.
