Two sides

PLEASE NOTE THAT I AM NOT PREGNANT NOR AM I TRYING TO BECOME PREGNANT.

Danigirl has a post up which led to this post.

Eighteen years ago I peed on a stick. "One line, one line, one line." I prayed.
Six years ago I peed on a stick. "Two lines, two lines, two lines." I prayed.

Dani, I hope next time you get the answer you hope for.

You're so sweet, Liz.

Isn't it funny how life comes full circle?

*bursts out laughing at your disclaimer*

Oh man, it is so true - if you mention peeing on a stick or that your sammich from the day before made your tummy wonky... you're pregnant or trying or whatever.

I've not ever peed on the sticks. I'm still baffled by the idea of going off birth control and then having sex on purpose (the on purpose is about the "while off birth control" not that I tend to not currently have sex, itself, on purpose).

You're so funny!

I peed on approximately 20 million sticks with Kid L. I tried every brand and type; anything not to have to call my mom and say "you know that wedding we were planning for July, we better make it May".

I peed on 1 with NSBH.

I peed on 3 with Nonami, just in case that first one was wrong due to being 18 months old.

You know, there ARE times when the one line is a *wonderful* thing. And then there are the times when it is *not.* I've had both, and both are nerve-wracking, depending on which outcome you are fervently praying for.

I'm so sorry for Dani. I wish there was some way we could all wish her into the results that she longs so desperately for. My fingers are crossed for her.

Being long past the age and situation in life of caring, I wish this for all of you, my friends of child-bearing age:
May you always, always get the result you hope for, and may it always, always be YOUR choice to carry on or not.
