Asking for some help

Dear friends,

Any of y'all know where I can find a bathing suit that will fit me? I'm looking for a practical suit, something that I can wear playing with MM. In other words, no dental floss, but not a burkini either. Lands End, Nordstrom, Water Water, LL Bean, and JC Penney only go up to Didi.

Alternatively, any of you have ideas on how to phrase a Google search for one that won't bring up something geared towards a fan of GGW?

Thanking you in advance for any and all input.

I didn't find anything that leaped out at me as the perfect product from a reliable merchant at a reasonable price, but googling "bathing suits for 'g cup'" did get some potential useful links.

Thanks! I'll try that.

Oh, my word! Given my recent shopping disasters, I can't offer much in the way of actual help, but I sure am right there with you in the frustration. Best of luck!

Feeling your pain. I quit bathing suits because I couldn't seem to find one to contain my upper quadrant. But then again I'm much older than you are. BTW, do you read "I Blame the Patriarchy"? It's among my favorite blogs and the author, Twisty, has an incredible post about bathing suits from the perspective of a double-mastectomy patient. It's a couple of weeks back on the blog, I think.

YT, I did see that and went at once to Lands End to look and she's absolutely spot on.

Have you tried the Freya line? They make bras primarily, but also bathing suits by cup size, and I am very happy with the one I just got! Of course, I got it on eBay so I paid $40, shipping incl., instead of $85. But it's worth a look. I bought a bikini style and then found some board shorts on eBay as well to go over the bottoms so I don't inflict my Pony Express-worthy saddlebags on the world at large ;)

As an alternative, I do have a one-piece from Target (Cherokee brand) that I bought last year that doesn't fit me. I was a 16-18 at the time and somewhere up to a 38-40G from nursing. I have no idea what your dress size is but if you could use it in a pinch it's not very worn at all. Also, I have a very lightly-used 34FF seamless beige Fantasie bra (the brand runs large and it's actually a 34G) that is now a cup size too big, and you're welcome to that if you like, just drop me an e-mail!

There is an Australian Mail order site that do comfy bras and swimwear, but I'm not sure if they'll go all the way to g for you...

good luck in your searching.

I'm an H cup and wear my Land's End one-piece bathing suit fine--but then I'm not especially thin, either. Big breasts can be such a hassle.
