Smoothies, they're what's for dinner

Yeah. I take REAL good care of myself.

At least I got the healthy one with lots of fruit and vitamins in it.

MM had a K1d Cu1s1ne with his baby sitter while I was out smilingsmilingsmiling.

What happened to my plan to stock the freezer with baked ziti, shepherd's pie, and lancastershire hotpot?

And please, take a couple of hours and watch this, which Gene Weingarten led me to. It's totally worth it. Kathy a. agrees with me.

Smoothies are awfully good...but do take care of yourself, to keep up the smilingsmilingsmiling.

That lecture (or at least the You Tube video about it which I watched the other day) is remarkable.

What is lancastershire hotpot? I know Wallace mentions it at the end of "A Grand Day Out" but I have no idea what it is. And why Google when you've got MysteryMommy?

liz, i keep thinking and thinking about that lecture. just so amazing. i'm the kind of person who can't be bothered with a 5 minute clip, but the whole thing was captivating.

I'd cook for you if you were nearby.

And I'm fascinated by the Lancastershire Hotpot - which, though I've watched A Grand Day Out countless times, I've never heard of. Go figure.

Jim and I just went to this AWESOME store (?) place.. thingy. Anyhoo, mom has been making these dinners from this place and we love them. So we went and started our own stockpiling of them in our freezer.

They started as a one woman catering place that would do custom home-orders. Now they have a story-thingy. You can see them cooking in the background. We bought frozen containers of meatloaf, curry chicken, beef burgundy, sweet and sour chicken, etc...

The moral of this story, we ain't cooking for ourselves either. And when Jim was away this weekend I ate popcorn for dinner. For real.
