In the garden

Planted: 2 cantelope plants; many green bean seeds; a pot o' basil and parsley.

Found growing: wild raspberry plants.

On its way (from Amazon, via gift certificate): a garden composter; a kitchen composter; Let it Rot.

It may be a very flavorful and garden-y summer!

My mom just got a composter and she loves it!

so jealous - we have not much yard space for a garden. We do tomatoes and that's about it.

I'm impressed about the wild raspberries. Lucky you. Also the item above it was goosegrass, which I had in my last garden. I didn't know its name, but we called it Nippy weed 'cos the seeds and leaves got caught in the cat(Nippy)'s fur.

Wild raspberries - wow! You are so fortunate to have those. I would not be able to stop myself from picking them all as soon as they turned from green . . . Yum!

When we (finally) go to lunch, I need some suggestions of what I should grow this summer!
