Costco has failed me, advice needed

What's my next stop for inexpensive all-cotton high-cut und3rs? Target? JCPenney?

Also, does anyone know how to keep kneesocks from becoming tourniquets?

Also, to cut or not to cut (my hair), that is the question. My home team likes the hair long, but I'm thinking it's going to be a staticky, staying-wet-and-cold-all-day, pain in the ass for the winter.

What say you?

I'd guess Target. I found my latest at the northern equivalent after a lot of trial and error.

When I wear tall socks I have to turn down the tops to a reasonable height. I have very big calves. I blame it on being short and needing to stand on my tippy toes to get anything down from the cupboards.

As for hair, I'm lucky that *my* home team likes it short (except when I get the urge to grow it out, or maybe especially then). But could you wash it at night and braid it down your back to fight the static? Or else find a compromise length? Just above shoulders, maybe?

Do you like to pull your hair back or braid it? If not, I'd say cut it. If you like to pull it back, my preference (for my own hair when I get it cut) is to leave it just long enough to be able to pull it into a ponytail.

Oh, and the best inexpensive unds I've found were at one of those discount stores . . . Ros$, TJs, or something like that.
