Lately, I've been learning a TON about how we, as a society (my county in particular), care for people with disabilities. I still have a lot to learn, but I want to point you to this site. UDES is working to get legislation passed that will allow parents to set up 529-like savings instruments for their children with disabilities.
Sorry this post isn't deeper. I know I need to do better to combat my own disablism. I'm working on it. In the meantime, I'm learning.
