Answer to the question of what to do for MM's Birthday

Pool party at the local indoor pool. A bit pricey, but it allowed us to invite 14 of MM's friends and is a longer time period.

He'll be 7 in 3 weeks.

    That's a fantastic spot for a winter party. Have fun! Try to have a few parent friends stick around to help herd the wet cats.

    Wow. It seems like just yesterday that he was a toddler.

    We've had a couple of Offspring's parties at the indoor pool, and while it's fun, all the adults seem to go home with a huge chlorine headache. Oh, well. It's STILL better than Chuck E. Cheese's. :)

    That's simply not possible. How did 7 get here already??

    I thought my "fake" friends and family were supposed to stay the same age thus keeping my children young.
