Fun day today

Muffin Man and I are on our own this weekend. Mr. Spock is up in NYC visiting a friend of ours.

MM & I went for SoupAndBread today and had a great time. After nap, our babysitter came over and I went shopping for shorts for MM (he only had four pair and we're starting potty training again) and some clothes for me.

Fun Fact 1: I've gone from a size ten in skirts and pants to a size 8.
Fun Fact 2: I've gone from a 38 bra to a 36. Same cup size. And I am in love with the Wacoal Slimline Minimizer.
Fun Fact 3: Muffin Man is making another stab at potty training. Let's hope it takes this time.

I went shopping too except I bought pj's. 3 new pair for me and 4 for my daughter. They were on sale 40 - 60% off. I could not resist.

Good job on the size 8.

Hey, yeah...nice 8. Where exactly do you find an 8 in a store? 8? What's an 8?
Good luck on the training. It's a beautiful thing to have behind you, so to speak.

For you: Clap clap clap clap clap!

For Muffin Man: [Stands] Clap clap clap clap clap clap!

Could Muffin Man have a little heart-to-heart talk with LG on the subject of potty training?

MM's heart-to-heart at this point would be "Don't Do It!"

3 accidents so far today. One was a poop in his underpants.

the hardest thing about potty training is sticking with it, cleaning up the messes good-naturedly, and putting on another pair of underpants knowing full well you'll be cleaning up another mess soon. But I think that's what it takes eventually.

Yup, it just takes time. And even after, I hate to say, there is a spell where you'll be asked to come in a wipe. I swear, it's at least a year long process.

Hope that helped!

And congrats on the downsizing.

Good for you! And good luck with the potty training. I'm dreading it.
