Pentagon Proposes Shutting Walter Reed. WALTER REED! The best hospital anywhere for treating burns, amputees, and all the other horrors of war. They want to close it during wartime? Are they crazy?!?

Yes. I'm starting to think that the conspriacy-theorists who say that the Bush Administration is deliberately promoting incompetence in order to build popular opinion around a total dismantling of government are on to something.
