Not sure whether I'm jealous really. That's my favorite of the series, but not sure I'd want to teach it. Please do let us know how it goes in class, though. I've had a few students approach me asking me to teach Harry Potter and I've always thought that sounded kind of miserable.
The class is called "Children's Literature: Historical Crit." So I naturally assumed all the books we'd be reading would be those I read in my childhood. Only two predate me. But considering that I'm old enough to be the mom of many of my classmates, I guess they might consider "Holes" to be historical.
