The throat is not the only mucus membrane that can contract strep.

Chili Pepper said...: Ouch! I had no idea you could get strep anywhere other than your throat. Can I ask which area of poor MM is affected? My sympathies, for sure. Little Chili is only recently recovered from his scarlet fever followed by strep throat. That was a fun two weeks...
