I actually spotted the plane(s) out the window. Ran out front in time to see it fly almost directly over the house, then take that picture.
The '60s were my childhood, and were all about the space program, to me. In those days, I truly believed I would, by now, be able to buy a ticket to the moon.
Instead, today, I watched that all just wave good-bye from over my home, before it flew off into the distance.
I have lived through the Space Age, and now it's over.
