Follow-up mammogram and ultrasound have been postponed for a week, because the doctor couldn't come into the office today.
I see this as a good sign and a confirmation that there is no reason to panic. If there were anything at all to worry about, they'd be much more aggressive about getting these films ASAP. Right?
And thank you all for your good wishes. I do feel less nervous because of them!

Definitely a good sign.
Yes, definitely good!
I am similarly fibrous and wouldn't have thought about it, but now I will expect similar calling-back when I get mine sometime soon (as soon as I call and set it up).
I agree. I'm sure your breast is fine. Wait, that didn't come out right. You know what I mean.
It's good, very good. Anytime it's bad stuff, they want it done ASAP - they are trying to avoid any liability that would arise from a delay in treatment of any condition that would require treatment.
Sounds good to me--but I will still keep you in my thoughts, as waiting is still no fun.
Wow, sounds like you've had an emotional roller-coaster two or three days. I hope it goes OK,and I reckon it will, as it sounds like you have a reasonable handle on your own health. Good luck, matey.
I think, btwn your own insights on your own knowledge of your body and the lack of urgency on the doctors' behalf, that it is a yellow [caution] alert, as opposed to orange or the dreaded red.
I will be praying - keep us up to speed!
Huge huge huge hugs to you, Liz. I too would be reassured by their lack of overt concern.
Thinking of you. And laughing at Corndog... which always goes without saying.
Sorry coming in a little late--with you on the fibrocystic breasts (thanks mom!) and glad no one was saying anything ominous.
