Your speech was a million times better than the typical graduation speech - more interesting, more insightful, better written, and more likely to cause the students to think.

So naturally, they didn't pick it. But we're all so glad you posted it.

Well, it comes from the heart -- both your speech and our praise of it. We, I think, are all disappointed that your speech wasn't chosen, but feel that it should, in no way, reflect on how much you rock. Really. If they can't see you obvious greatness, then they're poorer for it. And we get all the Mystery goodness for ourselves.
